Special Sync Pairs from Hisui are coming to Pokemon Masters EX - More info to be released May 28th

The official Twitter account for Pokemon Masters EX today tweeted a short teaser for the arrival of new Sync Pairs featuring characters from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The brief video clip shows Lucas and Dawn looking at a Space-time distortion while a crack appearing above Pasio. No date has yet been provided on which characters will be appearing in these Sync Pairs, or when the new Sync Pairs will become available, however the Twitter account also promised that more information would be forthcoming on May 28th.

Pokémon Bus touring Smyths Toys Superstores across the UK for the May Half-Term

The Pokémon Company International has announced that its special Pokémon tour bus will be touring a selection of Smyths Toys Superstore locations across the UK between May 27th and June 2nd, offering a range of activities to entertain younger fans, as well as a selection of Pokémon merchandise for purchase including several exclusive Pokémon TCG products. The tour will visit Hedge End on May 27th, Milton Keynes on May 28th, Norwich on May 29th, Mansfield on May 30th, York on May 31st, Hull on June 1st, and Leeds on June 2nd.

Update to official Japanese Pokémon TCG site unveils Wigglytuff ex and Art Rare cards from upcoming Pokémon Card 151 expansion

Updates today on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese homepage and YouTube channel have revealed a Wigglytuff ex, as well as a selection of fossil Pokémon and Art Rare cards that will be available in the Pokémon Card 151 subset that will launch in Japan on June 16th. As the name suggests, this subset focuses on Pokémon from the original generation of the franchise.

Pokémon HOME maintenance for the 3.0.0 update has been scheduled for May 29th and 30th

The Pokémon HOME 3.0.0 update, which was originally announced for May 23rd, has now been confirmed as releasing at the end of this month. At 5pm (PDT) on May 29th, Pokémon HOME will enter an extended period of maintenance ahead of 3.0.0 becoming available to users. The Pokémon Company has warned that this maintenance could extend for more than 24 hours, going as late as 11pm (PDT) on May 30th.

First details released on the Scarlet & Violet - Obsidian Flames expansion for the Pokémon TCG, launching internationally from August 11th

The second Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series, Obsidian Flames, has been officially announced by The Pokémon Company International. This expansion will be the international equivalent of the Ruler of the Black Flame expansion releasing in Japan later this year, including cards from that set, the ex Special Set, and the ex Start Decks.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet updated to Version 1.3.1 - Patch resolves issues that had impacted the Japanese and Korean National Tournament Qualifiers

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet today have received an update to Version 1.3.1. First announced on the Japanese official Pokémon Twitter account @Pokemon_cojp, and with an English announcement on the @playpokemon 15 minutes later, this update fixes multiple issues that were impacting players in invite-only official tournaments, including the Japanese and Korean National Championship Qualifiers, to repeatedly face the same opponents, have difficulties in exiting between battles, and be unable to view rankings.

The Pokémon Company International and Bear Walker are once again partnering for a new series of limited edition Pokémon-themed skateboards. This latest collection, currently available exclusively from Pokémon Center UK, features the three Johto starter Pokémon, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile. Each design is limited to a total of 250 units.

Pokémon Masters EX continues the Sinnoh Chapter event re-runs, with the Galactic Awakening Villain Event returning to the game until June 9th

Hot on the heals of the Dreams of the Void Villain Event re-run over the weekend, the Galactic Awakening Villain Event, which originally ran in February 2022 together with the conclusion of the Sinnoh arc of the Villain chapter, is making its own return to Pokémon Masters EX until June 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT). This is the first time the event has been re-run.

The Pokémon Company has launched a new Theme for the LINE app called Pokémon Coquelicot, featuring Eevee surrounded by various a plethora of flowers including mimosas, baby blue eyes, and the titular coquelicots. Rising Shadows Pokémon GO event launches Shadow Raids

Niantic has announced the Rising Shadows event for Pokémon GO which will launch a new feature called Shadow Raids when it will run from 10am on Monday 22 May to 8pm on Sunday 28 May local time. Team GO Rocket will be taking over Gyms during this event although some Gyms not controlled by Team GO Rocket may still contain different Raids which aren't Shadow Raids. Players will not be able to use Remote Raid Passes on Shadow Raids and there will not be a team bonus adding more Premier Balls from the colour of the Gym because it should become black just like Team GO Rocket controlled PokéStops. Shadow Mewtwo will be in 5* Shadow Raids from 10am on Saturday 27 May to 8pm on Sunday 28 May local time and a Shiny Shadow Mewtwo will be available from finishing the Shadow Raid if you are lucky. Pokémon HOME version 3.0.0 to release May 23rd, adds compatibility for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have announced that Pokémon HOME will receive an update to version 3.0.0 on May 23rd. This update will allow Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, released in November last year, recently released Pokémon titles, to be mutually compatible to past games including Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Sword and Shield, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, and Pokémon GO.
