After being the victim of a robbery for $100,000 USD worth of Pokémon cards, among other merchandise, owners of a Pokémon Trading Card Game shop in New York City have been asked to change their name and branding, which included Nintendo trademarks. The robbery, which occurred on January 14th of this year, apparently brought so much publicity to the shop that Nintendo took notice.

Today's video on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese YouTube channel has unveiled new Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedrill ex cards, which will be released in the upcoming Ninja Spinner expansion that hits store shelves in Japan later on March 13th.

As announced in the recent trailer, a range of events, scouts, and bonuses are launching today in Pokémon Masters EX to celebrate the run-up to the game's 6.5 year anniversary, along with the impending 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise itself. Information has also been released on the Gym Battles feature, with Pasio Gym Battle No. 1 scheduled to launch later this week.

The 2026 Pokémon Europe International Championships were won by 6x Regional Champion and 2023 Europe International Champion Paul Chua. The event ran from 13–15 January 2026, and featured a total of 1,455 trainers battling for an invite to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships. This was the largest-scale tournament to use the Regulation Set F ruleset in the 2026 Championship Series, banning the use of powerful Restricted Special Pokémon such as Koraidon or Miraidon.

The newest Wonder Pick Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket brings new Cinderace and Alolan Vulpix promo cards to the game's Wonder Pick feature, along with a selection of limited time Toxtricity-themed event items to the in-game shop. This event will run through to February 24th.

The release of Pokémon Pokopia is fast approaching, and the new cozy spin-off is getting its own collection of merchandise at Pokémon Centers in Japan. The collection features characters and environments from the game, including its humanoid Ditto player characters. The Pokopia merch collection will arrive at Pokémon Centers in Japan and at the Pokémon Center Online on March 5th, in conjunction with the game’s release.

The Pokémon Company is debuting a new collection of merchandise focused on Fighting-type Pokémon, starring favorite Fighting-types like Machamp, Croagunk, and Lucario. The “Training” collection includes plushes, stationery, and lots of apparel and accessories. New merch will arrive to Pokémon Centers in Japan on February 21st, and to the Pokémon Center Online on February 19th.

The third episode of the third season of the POKÉTOON series has been released on the official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel. The episode is titled 「うたう！おどる！チルタリス！」 ("Sing! Dance! Tyltalis!"), and features a Swablu who likes to sing, running into a singer named Kamina who is looking for a partner.

The second Talk About Love RTA will be taking place tomorrow over Valentine's Day in Japan. In this marathon, runners will not be providing commentary on the speedrun itself, but instead talking about their love for the game they're playing. Pokémon Puzzle Challenge will be one of the runs in the event, which can be watched from its host's Twitch channel.

Fans have today received their first official look at cards from the Ninja Spinner expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, which will be released in Japan on March 13th. The set centers around Mega Greninja ex, and will feature a variety of Pokémon and characters from Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Santa Cruz and The Pokémon Company International are once again teaming up for a collection of skateboards and apparel, scheduled for release in Fall of this year. The collab celebrates the Pokémon franchise’s upcoming 30th anniversary, and offers 30 deck designs based on the most iconic Trading Card Game designs.

A Mega Medicham ex Drop Event has now commenced in Pokémon TCG Pocket, running through to February 21st at 9:59pm (PST), offering players the opportunity to challenge a series of special solo battles to attempt to obtain promo card packs and other rewards.

Pokémon GO next week is celebrating the year of the Horse with this year's incarnation of the Lunar New Year event. This event will run from the beginning of the Lunar New Year, from Tuesday, February 17th, at 10:00am, through to Saturday, February 21st, at 8:00pm local time.

Gigantamax Meowth will be featured in Pokémon GO's upcoming Max Battle Day this weekend on Sunday February 15th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. Lucky Trainers may also encounter Gigantamax Meowth in its Shiny variant during this event.

The Therian Form of the Love-Hate Pokémon Enamorus will be making its Pokémon GO debut in the game's latest Raid Day event, which is being held on Valentine's Day, this coming Saturday February 14th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

Pokémon GO has started its celebrations of Valentine's Day a bit early this year, with the Valentine's Day 2026 event commencing from today, Tuesday, February 10th, at 10:00am, running through to Sunday, February 15th, at 8:00pm local time.

I would say that this episode of Pokémon Horizons showcased how much the kids and Amethio have come regarding their battle skills. Also, I wonder if there is any intentional significance that this major battle episode is Episode 125, because there are 5 Hero Pokémon, 5 Battles, and 5 Trainers. 5 × 5 × 5 = 125.

Following on from starring in this year's Palentine's event, Rika's debut Story Event Good Ol' Rika Here is making a return to Pokémon Masters EX for the first time, running through until February 27th, at 9:59pm (PST).

The “What’s Your Favorite?” campaign, celebrating 30 years of the Pokémon franchise, kicked off today with ad during Super Bowl LX. The ad features a cast of celebrities discussing their favorite Pokémon, including Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, Charles Leclerc, Jisoo, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lamine Yamal and Young Miko.
