The Slipping, Smashing Mystery Pokémon?! - Pokémon Horizons Episode 30 Review - The Polteageist line makes their debut!

Have you ever envisioned a brawl between a Shuckle and a Polteageist? Whether you have or haven’t, this episode delivers just that, as Polteageist makes its official anime debut. I liked that this week's episode of Pokémon Horizons was more of a Pokémon-focused episode, rather than Horizons’ usual human and Pokémon-focused episodes. While there were some humans that played a key part in this episode, they weren’t the real focus of this episode as it was all Polteageist.

A limited-time distribution of a Revavroom with the Peeved Mark was announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet at the end of the 3rd episode of Paldean Winds, which aired today across the various language Official Pokémon YouTube channels. Orla and the Poké Ball Artisan - Pokémon Horizons Episode 29 Review - Finally it's Orla's time to shine

I always welcome an episode that gives us more insight into the character's backstory. It’s super wonderful to learn more about the Rising Volt Tacklers. This time, it’s Orla’s turn in the spotlight. She’s the mechanic of the team, and also the most needed person on the ship, a very talented engineer who knows how to fix practically everything. So, what happens when she meets a fellow female engineer who needs her help? That’s what this week's episode of Pokémon Horizons. is all about.

The Stolen Treasure - Pokémon Horizons Episode 28 Review - A Wild Ball Chase

If I am allowed to be honest, I didn’t like this week's episode of Pokémon Horizons. The kids were acting a lot dumber than they actually are, and most of the episode was just chasing an old guy around. It felt rather silly to me. Am I the only one feeling this way? All I can remember from this episode was that the kids were running around. That’s it. That’s the episode.

As Long As I'm With My Companions - Pokémon Horizons Episode 27 Review - Curry Mukbang Time!

This week's episode is a fun episode for the Rising Volt Tacklers, and a nice buildup episode for the Explorers. The title and theme of this episode is “As Long I’m With My Companions”, and the story is split into two mini-plotlines, with the first focusing on the Rising Volt Tacklers preparing and eating curry together, while the second shows us the Explorers having a meeting. I do like how both sides are shown without either one hogging the spotlight too much.

Voice actor for Professor Oak, James, Meowth reports “overall positive news” regarding cancer diagnosis from earlier this year

James Carter Cathcart is best known as the voice talent for multiple roles in the English-language version of the Pokémon anime, including Professor Oak, James of Team Rocket, and many different Pokémon throughout his long career. He has recently offered an encouraging update for fans on his blog, which he began early this year to document his ongoing battle with throat cancer. Cathcart and his wife, Martha Jacobi, wrote on October 29th that he has been cleared to return home after an intense 14-day in-patient session of IV antibiotics. “Overall, our spirits are tired, but good,” they wrote

Detective Pikachu & The Mystery of the Missing Flan - Animated Short Review

Why does Pokémon keep releasing these shorts on a short notice? I was only informed Detective Pikachu & the Mystery of the Missing Flan had gone out after I saw it come up in my subscription box on Youtube. So, I sat down and decided to watch it and… it was adorable. Maybe it’s because I’ve been watching Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions lately, but I’ve really fallen for the mystery genre recently. Maybe it’s the reason why I enjoyed this short so much.

Rivals in the Dark Night - Pokémon Horizons Episode 25 Review - The Grand Finale of the First Chapter

Wow, they went all out for the grand finale of the first chapter of Pokémon Horizons. Everything’s so action-packed, fast-paced and there are some satisfactory conclusions mixed in as well. Nothing feels too rushed, and the build up for future events is present as well. I cannot decide which episode of the Liko and Roy’s Departure chapter was the best, but I cannot deny that this episode was amazing.

Burning Galarian Moltres - Pokémon Horizons Episode 23 - How to calm down Galarian Moltres

Pokémon Horizons has been great so far, but if I were name one glaring flaw for this series, it would be that scenes that should be considered important are shoved onto off-screen land. Frustrations aside, the rest of this episode was rather straightforward, but I liked it. Liko deduces that Galarian Moltres’s emotions are out of control as Hatenna was crying when it roared, and they manage to come up with a plan to calm it down.

Clash! The Galar Mine - Pokémon Horizons Episode 22 Review - Rayquaza sure looks different here...

Wow, Rayquaza sure looks different! Jokes aside, this week's episode was rather intense. Honestly, I quite enjoyed it a lot. I loved the twist of the Pokémon in the mine not being Rayquaza but Galarian Moltres; that it was also apparently one of Lucius’s companions was surprising too, given just how sinister its presence is compared to Arboliva, who despite being menacing at first was shown to be really quite kind.
