IGN reveals new event-exclusive merchandise that will be available at next month's 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu

Gaming journalist Casey Defreitas from IGN has gotten an exclusive first look at new Pokémon merch that will be available exclusively at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships, which this year are being held at the Hawai'i Convention Center in Honolulu. A short video showcasing all of the newly revealed merchandise has also been posted by IGN on their official account on X (formerly Twitter).


The lineup of event-exclusive merchandise features tropical themed designs with vibrant colors, and includes items such as a ukulele, a backpack, a lanyard, plushies of Azumarill, Riolu and Pikachu, and a wide array of TCG related merchandise including card sleeves, single and double deck boxes, a coin and marker set, and a TCG playmat and bag. Other location-inspired products will also be available.

The ukulele, which is expected to have a strong demand, is the most exclusive and unique item in the lineup, and has been priced at $59.99 USD. Another notable item in the lineup is the custom Reyn Spooner collaboration shirt. Reyn Spooner is a local Hawaiian company known for its high quality clothing, who have been in operation since 1956.

All of this merchandise will be available from the 2024 Worlds Pokémon Center Pop Up Store throughout the event, from August 14th to 18th, while supplies last. Please note that reservations need to be made beforehand to visit the 2024 Worlds Pokémon Center Store, even for attendees who already have an Event Badge.
