The Pokémon Company is expanding its collaboration with vocaloid Hatsune Miku, this time launching a collection of merchandise featuring the singer as a Pokémon Trainer specializing in each of the 18 types. Pokémon x Hatsune Miku are also adding to their catalog of songs, launching their first song of 2026 on January 28th. The new merch collection, “18 Harmony Stage,” will arrive at Pokémon Centers in Japan on January 31st, and to the Pokémon Center Online on January 29th.

The Pokémon Company is debuting some new Mega Evolution plushes today, which will be coming to Pokémon Centers in Japan beginning January 24th, and to the Pokémon Center Online on January 22nd. Meanwhile, Takara Tomy has announced a new plush as well, a classic “fat” version of Pikachu in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The “Welcome Back!” Pikachu plush, as it's called, will be available via Takara Tomy’s website beginning February 28th.

Today, The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company announced the first LEGO Pokémon sets, as part of a collaboration first teased during March last year. The three main sets revealed today include models of Eevee, Pikachu, and the fully-evolved forms of the Kanto first partner Pokémon. These three sets are all primarily for display, with age ratings of 18+. All of these sets are available for pre-order starting today from both LEGO.com and Pokémon Center, and are slated for release on Pokémon Day, February 27th.

The Pokémon Company is debuting a very pastel new collection themed after Pokémon daydreaming of their evolutions, including plushes that have little plush toys of their own. Japan-based clothing retailer Uniqlo is previewing a new collab with The Pokémon Company, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Green’s release in Japan. Pokémon Day 2026 is coming up on February 27th, and to mark the occasion, Uniqlo’s graphic tee imprint, UT, will be debuting t-shirts in kid’s and adult’s sizes inspired by watercolor artwork from the early days of the Pokémon franchise.

The Pokémon Company International is once again partnering with King Ice, the LA-based streetwear company who debuted their first Pokémon jewelry collab in 2024. There are eight new pieces available in the latest drop, four of which are Poké Balls and four of which are Pokémon. As announced earlier this year, Pokémon Astronomical Observatory will be coming to a variety of museums and cultural centers in Japan throughout the next year. The traveling astronomy exhibit is a collaboration between The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) and The Pokémon Company, and aims to increase children’s interest in science. New details have been announced regarding the exhibit, including the traveling schedule and a collection of new merchandise to be sold at each location. The NAOJ states that the exhibit is designed to “spark children’s interest in space, strengthen the talent pool which studies science, and increase overall support for basic science.” Visitors to the exhibit will find a learning and entertainment experience with an emphasis on exploration and discovery, and featuring mysterious Pokémon.
