A brand new art exhibit has debuted in the Japanese National Crafts Museum in Kanagawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. The Pokémon × Kogei: Playful Encounters of Art and Japanese Craft exhibit features the work of 20 individuals, from living national treasures to young rising stars, taking shape as pottery, attire, metalwork, and other Japanese crafts. The exhibit runs from March 21st until June 11th, 2023, excluding Mondays. There are about 70 works, featuring Pokémon from Generations 1-8.

As expected, the Pokémon Company has confirmed that a Pokémon Presents video will premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel this Pokémon Day, February 27th, at 6:00am (PST) / 2:00pm GMT / 11:00pm JST. The video will be approximately 20 minutes in length, which is 6 minutes longer than the presentation in 2022. The media alert states that "Fans can look forward to around 20 minutes of Pokémon news and join in the conversation online with #PokemonDay.", however it stops short of giving any specifics about what kinds of announcements we can expect.

Between April 23rd and April 30th, St Baldrick's Foundation will once again be challenging the Pokémon streaming community to collectively catch 1 million Pokémon, and in the process help them raise $100,000 in 7 days to fund childhood cancer research. The first live event of the tour will be held at Sunset Park in Nevada, Las Vegas on February 18th and 19th, from 10am to 6pm (PST). On November 26th, in-person events will be taking place in London in the United Kingdom, and Los Angeles in the United States. For the second year running, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will include a holiday themed balloon featuring Pikachu and Eevee riding in a giant Poké Ball-inspired sled and wearing winter clothing. Morelull can be evolved into Shiinotic using 50 Morelull Candy.

Niantic has released more details on the upcoming ticketed Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Taipei event, which will being held from October 21st to October 23rd at the Da'an Forest Park in the city of Taipei. A Pokémon Air Adventures event is also scheduled to be held concurrently with this Safari Zone event. While only Trainers in Taipei will be able to access the complete event, some limited items from the Air Adventures event will be available worldwide.

The Pokémon Company has announced that it will be launching a special Pokémon-themed plane this September in collaboration with the Singapore-based airline Scoot. The Pikachu Jet TR is scheduled for its inaugural flight from Singapore to Tokyo, Japan this September 9th. It will operate mainly on routes between destinations in Asia, including flights between Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.

A brand new battle arena for Pokémon UNITE was premiered during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Pokémon World Championships, with a trailer for the Theia Sky Ruins. While sporting a similar layout to the existing Remoat Stadium map, this new map features battles with wild Pokémon not previously seen in the game, including a face-off with the Sky High Pokémon, Rayquaza. Also released during the live stream were codes for players to acquire a Worlds-themed T-shirt avatar item in-game, as first announced together with the streaming schedule last week.
