Details released on new Pokémon TCG cards coming to Japan late next month in the upcoming Stellar Tera Type Starter Sets
The Stellar Tera Type Starter Sets comprise two 60-card pre-constructed decks each focusing on a Stellar-type Tera Pokémon ex, first introduced to the TCG in the Japanese Stellar Miracle expansion. Each deck also features new Trainer cards and reprints of older meta-relevant Trainer cards, a sheet containing 44 damage counters and 2 Special Condition markers, a coin, and a one-player paper playmat.
Starting August 30th, players in Japan who purchase these or other selected decks from participating Japanese retailers will be able to receive a special Eevee promotional card. This is a special print of the card illustrated by Susumu Maeya from the Japanese Night Wanderer subset, featuring a "Let's Start Pokémon Card Battle!" symbol in the bottom left of the image.
Also revealed today were a selection of promotional cards that are being released as part of a special Scarlet & Violet promotional pack. All cards in this pack are reprints of cards previously released internationally, with identical artwork. Japanese fans will be able to get their hands on these packs, which each contain 1 card each, by purchasing booster packs at Pokémon Card Gyms and Pokémon Center stores across Japan starting August 10th, as part of the "Pokémon Card Summer is Here! Get a Promo Card Campaign!". 1 promotional card pack will be received for every 10 boosters purchased.
