Check out all the information released so far for Pokémon GO's upcoming City Safari: Incheon event, running September 27th to 29th

In addition to the Pokémon GO Safari event for Jakarta, Indonesia, Niantic this week also announced a Pokémon GO City Safari event to be held in the Songdo Central Park in Incheon, South Korea, running from September 27th to 29th. In this ticketed in-person event, Trainers will explore Incheon, a city "where the future and the past coexist".

Ticket Information
Tickets for the event are available for purchase for ₩18,000 (or the equivalent pricing tier in Trainer's local currency), and will entitle Trainers to access one day of the three-day event, granting access to event gameplay within Songdo Central Park from 10:30am to 7:30pm on their ticketed day.

Trainers can purchase their tickets for the in-person events via the official site, or in-app following the following steps

• Open the Pokémon GO app.
• In Map View, tap the Main Menu button.
• Tap Events.
• On the following page, all upcoming live events will be listed, with the soonest event at the top.
• Trainers will see the label "Tickets Available!" next to a first-come first-served event if it hasn’t sold out yet. Tap the event to select the date and time, and input the payment information to complete the purchase. On the payment confirmation page, please note of the order ID. A confirmation email will be sent to the address entered before payment.

Tickets for the in-person events can also be gifted to a friend, following the below process

1. The friends' username will be required. While purchasing, there are boxes that can be filled in with the usernames of the friends—one name per box.
2. Tap "Add." Make sure that the spelling of all usernames is correct.
3. The ticket will be sent. (Note: Trainers need to be at least Great Friends with the friend. All friends will receive tickets for the same date and time.

Citywide Gameplay add-on
Trainers can purchase the Citywide Gameplay add-on to expand their gameplay experience for this event for ₩11,000 per additional day added. This add-on will let Trainers experience event gameplay throughout the entire city of Incheon, excluding Songdo Central Park, from 10:30am to 7:30pm on the event day of their choice, excluding the date of their general admission ticket. Additional Special Research will not be included for these extra days.

The following bonuses will be available for ticket holders on the extra days purchased, excluding in Songdo Central Park:

• An increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon
• Up to five Special Trades daily within the city
• 1/2 Stardust Cost for trades within the city
• All Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours (excluding Golden Lure Modules)
• Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)
• Pikachu wearing a safari hat may be encountered by players taking snapshots

Event bonuses and activities
The following event bonuses will be available for ticket-holders in Songdo Central Park from 10:30am to 7:30pm local time on their ticketed day:

• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon in the wild and when using Incense
• Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours
• All Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours

The following additional event bonuses will be available for ticket-holders in Songdo Central Park from 12:00am to 11:59pm local time on their ticketed day:

• Make up to five Special Trades and for half the normal Stardust cost
• Pikachu wearing a safari hat may be encountered by players taking snapshots

All ticket holders will also receive an event-exclusive in-game medal.

Event-exclusive Special and Field Research
Event-exclusive Special Research will be available, awarding encounters with Skiddo when completed. These Skiddo may have a Location Background featuring Incheon.

During the event, ticket-holders will also be able to get event-exclusive Field Research tasks by spinning PokéStops. Completing these tasks will award encounters with featured Pokémon, including Pikachu wearing a safari hat and Skiddo. As with the Special Research, these Pokémon may have a Location Card featuring Incheon

In-Person Activities and Events
As with past City Safari events, there will be plenty of opportunities for excitement during the event, especially for younger Trainers, including photo opportunities, a community hub for interacting with Trainers from all over the world, Pokémon trading posts, and a battle zone. More details on these will be available closer to the event.
