The eighth episode of the second season of the
POKÉTOON series has been released on the
official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel. The episode is titled
「幼なじみのカルボウ」 ("
Childhood Friend Charcadet"), and feature a story about two
Charcadet, who were friends since childhood but were separated. This episode was originally supposed to be released on November 6th, but was delayed.
The cast for this episode includes 榊原 優希
Yuki Sakakihara as Charcadet 1, 花守 ゆみり
Yumiri Hanamori as Charcadet 2, and 斉藤 壮馬
Soma Saito as a Trainer. This episode also features the ending theme 「Forked Road」 by RUI・TAIKI・KANON.
As announced earlier, this episode will be the final of this season.
Synopsis said:
小さなころから一緒の２匹のカルボウ。
ある日、出会った少年にバトルで負けたやんちゃなカルボウは、強くなるために少年について行っちゃった！
置いて行かれたおとなしいカルボウは、ひとりで寂しい毎日に。
ふたりはずっと一緒だと思っていたのに...。
それぞれの道の先で、ふたりはもう一度出会うのか⁉
とっても熱くてちょっぴり切ないカルボウたちの物語！
Two Charcadet have been together since they were little.
One day, the mischievous Charcadet meets a boy and loses a battle with him, so he follows the boy to become stronger!
The quiet Charcadet is left behind and lives a lonely life.
The two thought that they would always be together...
Will the two meet once again at the end of their separate paths?
A very passionate and slightly sad story about Charcadet!
