POKÉTOON Episode 11 Review - Mass Outbreak Of Clodsire?

It’s interesting how some POKÉTOON episodes are either short videos or just shorts in general. Episode 11, released mid-last week, is one that's just a short. There's no concise plot or dialogue. It’s just a girl discovering that Paldean Wooper and Clodsire exist, who then has an existential crisis over it as she seems to be a regular Johtonian Wooper fan. However, she does get used to them at the end. I do worry about her skin though, since Paldean Wooper and Clodsire both have a protective film on their skin that’s poisonous!

The singing in this short is really quite addicting. I like how these POKÉTOONs always highlight one specific Pokémon or species. Episode 10 was Primeape and Annihilape, this episode is about Paldean Wooper and Clodsire, and the episode that just aired yesterday (expect a review soon!) focuses on Gogoat. It makes you wonder how creative they’ll get with other featured Pokemon.

This episode's animation is done by Studio Colorido—specifically their Kyoto branch. If you’re not familiar with Studio Colorido, they’re the ones who animated Twilight Wings, and the POKÉTOON episode featuring Blossom and her Nidoran as well as Episodes 4, 5, 6, and 9. I honestly really like their animation style. I do wonder what sort of magic they’ll bring for Pokemon if they make another POKÉTOON episode.

Sorry if this review is a bit short. Unfortunately, there's not all that much else to talk given the episode itself is so short.
