Pokémon Red/Blue and Pokémon Card GB to feature in Germench speedrunning event at DoKomi 2024 in benefit of Grünes Band

The German speedrunning community is set to perform live at the DoKomi event for 2024. Based out of Düsseldorf, Germany, DoKomi is an annual fair for anime and manga. Speedruns of two Pokémon games are scheduled for the final day of the event, which can be watched on the Germench Twitch channel. A Pokémon Scarlet/Violet competition is also set to take place at the event, in colaboration with the Grugapark Poké-Liga.

Germench is a community of speedrunners that aims to make the topic of speedrunning better known in German-speaking countries. Besides their own marathons, they have restreamed many other events in their native language, such as Games Done Quick and European Speedrunner Assembly.
