Japanese snacks company Calbee to release new Pokémon-themed potato chip packaging next week in Japan

Calbee, a Japanese company known for their sustainable snacks, has revealed new Pokémon designs for their potato chips line, along with a limited-time flavor called Consommé Triple-Punch. The new packages and flavour will be released on store shelves in Japan from Monday, October 21st.

Flavors with the Pokémon packaging include Light Salt, Consommé Punch and Consommé W Punch, in package sizes of 55g, 60g, 70g and 80g. All of these potato chip flavors can be found in convenience stores nationwide across Japan.

The designs feature Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Floragato, Crocalor, Quaxwell, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval.
