Time and Space gets focused on in Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock events

go5th.jpgNiantic has revealed details on parts 1 and 2 of the Ultra Unlock events for completing all 24 challenges in the Global Challenge Arena during Pokémon GO Fest 2021.

Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time will focus on Pokémon from various eras. Voltorb, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Baltoy, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more will be appearing more frequently in the wild, with Shiny Cranidos and Shiny Shieldon making their Pokémon GO debut. Unown U, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, and Klink will be appearing in one-star raids. You might also encounter a Shiny Unown U. Magneton, Aerodactyl, Porygon2, and Golurk will be appearing in three-star raids. Dialga makes its return in five-star raids, with the Shiny variant appearing for the first time in Pokémon GO. Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, and Shieldon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs. Complete Timed Research for a chance to earn encounters with certain event-themed Pokémon. There will also be themed Field Research available at PokéStops. The event is ongoing right now, and will end on August 3, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The Pokémon in Raid Battles will appear until August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

In Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space, Pokémon from various places will appear where they usually don't. Clefairy, Munna, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Elgyem, Heatmor, Durant, and more will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Unown U, West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Elgyem, and Espurr will be appearing in one-star raids, Alakazam, Kangaskhan, and Heracross will be appearing in three-star raids, and Palkia will be returning in five-star raids. Shiny variants of Heracross and Palkia will be making their Pokémon GO debut. West Sea and East Sea Shellos, Red-Striped and Blue-Striped Basculin, Heatmor, and Durant will be hatching from 7 km Eggs. Complete Timed Research to earn encounters with certain event-themed Pokémon. There will also be themed Field Research available at PokéStops. The event will run from August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to August 17, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The Pokémon in Raid Battles will appear until August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
