A rush of Golden events return to Pokémon Masters EX ahead of Japan's Golden Week Holiday, plus Rika's Elite Test and Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts

Solo Event: Pasio Gold Rush
A pair of classic gold-themed events, the Pasio Gold Rush Solo Event and The Golden Magikarp Daily Battle Event, are returning to Pokémon Masters EX today ahead of Japan's Golden Week Holiday period. Also launching today are the previously announced Rika's Elite Test Special Event, a trio of Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts, and a Training Support Rally.

Solo Event: Pasio Gold Rush
The Pasio Gold Rush Solo Event, which features a series of battles with a Hiker and their golden shiny Exeggcute, is available in-game now, and will continue until May 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT). This is the third time the event has been run, with its debut run in 2022 and first re-run in 2023 both also coming alongside Japan's Golden Week celebrations.

By completing battles during this event, players can earn Nugget items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including a 5★ Scout Tickets, and a Move Candy Coin. Players can also take on event missions for additional Gem rewards and for more story content. All rewards can be claimed even if players have previously completed the event during its previous runs.

In a break from typical solo event structures, this event does not feature any luneup or strength bonuses.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Leftover Nugget items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 1,000 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes.
Daily Battle Event: The Golden Magikarp
Daily Battle Event: The Golden Magikarp

Focused on the memetic "weakest Pokémon", this Daily Battle Event gives players the chance to form a Sync Pair with a shiny Magikarp. This event is available in-game now, and will run through to May 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

In this Daily Battle event, players can receive Eggs from Professor Bellis which hatch into Tech, Strike, and Support role Magikarp, all of which have a chance of being shiny. An additional limited-time Egg Incubator is also available in Professor Bellis's lab for the duration of the event, giving players plenty of opportunity to hatch many different Magikarp. These Magikarp can be evolved into the Water Pokémon Gyarados after forming a Sync Pair with the Main Character.

Players can earn Golden Magikarp Tickets by completing event areas, which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards including 3★ Dragon-type Gear, and 5★ Power Ups and Scout Tickets. Special missions are also available which offer 1★ Power-Ups, Gems, and other rewards which can be used to boost Egg Sync Pairs. All rewards can be claimed even if players previously completed previous runs of The Golden Magikarp Daily Battle Event.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The number of plays available for Spectacular Splash are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Leftover Golden Magikarp Tickets at the end of this event will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per voucher, and sent to players' Present Boxes
Special Event: Rika's Elite Test
Special Event: Rika's Elite Test

In this Special Event, players will receive a set of special missions from Rika over 10 days. Completing these missions will allow players to earn a variety of rewards, including an exclusive Title, Passed Rika's Elite Test.

In addition to these rewards, players will also receive additional rwards based on the cumulative number of missions completed by all players. These rewards include:
  • 50,000 Missions: 5★-Guarenteed Scout Ticket ×30
  • 90,000 Missions: Move Candy Coin Set
  • 120,000 Missions; Roll Cake Coin Set
  • 160,000 Missions: Trainer Lodge Artwork of Rika & Clodsire

Three separate Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts are now available, featuring a wide variety of past Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs, including Anniversary Sync Pairs. The Sync Pairs featured in these scouts include:

With the exception of Palmer & Regigigas, who already has an EX Role, all of the Sync Pairs featured in these scouts will be receiving EX Roles for the first time alongside these scouts. In addition, Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus, Blue (Classic) & Aerodactyl, Emmet & Archeops, and Sygna Suit Giovanni & Nidoking are also all receiving new Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair Tiles on their Sync Grids. These tiles are unlocked when these Sync Pairs move levels are increased to 2, 4, or 5.

In addition to the regular Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts, Trainers can also take advantage of Presents! Limit 1! versions of each of the three Scouts at a cost of 5000 Paid Gems each. As the name implies, each of these massive ×25 Scouts can only be used a single time during their availability period. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus Roll Cake Presents that can be used to unlock the newly added EX Roles for the featured Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs, as follows:

Training Support Rally
A pair of bonuses are currently running to help give players a boost to their Sync Pairs.

Training Area Reward Boost
As part of the Training Support Rally, trainers will receive extra rewards for completing the various Training area stages. The following areas will each award ×2 Completion Rewards and Battle Rewards over the period of the Rally:
  • Level Up Area
  • Cap Unlock Area
  • Cap Unlock Area 2
  • Theme Skill Area
  • Skill Feather Area
  • Lucky Skill Area
This is the first time the Lucky Skill Area has been eligible for the Training Area Reward Boost. To use the Training Area, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.

Training Support Log-In Bonus
The Training Support Rally includes a log-in bonus over 10 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until May 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.
