Don't miss this week's Magnetic Study event in Pokémon GO, running October 15th through 17th

The Magnetic Study event will be running this week in Pokémon GO, from October 15th, at 12:00am to October 17th, at 11:59pm local time. This event focuses on Magnemite, Plusle, and Minun.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active throughout this event:

• Increased chance to encounter the Shiny variants of Magnemite, Plusle, and Minun.
• Magnetic Lure Modules are more likely to attract event-themed Pokémon.

In addition, the following bonuses will be active from 12:00am to 11:59pm local time on each day of the event:

• October 15th: 2× XP for catching Pokémon
• October 16th: 50% more XP from Raid Battles
• October 17th: 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon

Magnetic Study Timed Research
Trainers will have access to special event-exclusive Timed Research on each day of the event. Completing this timed research will award Trainers with the following:

• October 15th: Encounters with Plusle, 5,000 XP, and 2,500 Stardust
• October 16th: Encounters with Magnemite, 1 Magnetic Lure Module
• October 17th: Encounters with Minun, 5,000 XP, and 2,500 Stardust

Pokémon encountered from these Timed Research rewards will all have a chance of being encountered in their shiny variants.

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before 11:59pm local time each day of the Magnetic Study event.
