Pokémon Sleep adds yet more Pokémon for your snoozy studies, with Drifloon and Drifblim making their debuts in-game today

Some people just waking up are sure to get a surprise today, with Drifloon and Drifblim suddenly appearing for Sleep Research in Pokémon Sleep. The two Pokémon have begun appearing in the game as of October 11th at 4:00am local time, including for Sleep Research that was commenced prior to that time. Drifblim appears solely at Old Gold Power Plant, while Drifloon appears at both Greengrass Isle and Old Gold Power Plant.

Drifloon and Drifblim are a Ghost-type Skills Pokemon. Their primary ingredient is Greengrass Corn. As with other Ghost-type Pokémon, Drifloon and Drifblim collect Bluk Berries, and have the Dozing sleep type, which corresponds to the "awake" or "light sleep" phase of a sleep cycle. This sleep style is commonly seen in-game on Ghost-type Pokémon.

Drifloon and Drifblim possess the new Stockpile/Spit Up (Charge Strength S) Main Skill. When this skill triggers, either Stockpile or Spit Up is selected. When Spit Up triggers, Snorlax gains Strength according to the number of times Stockpile was triggered, up to a maximum of 10 Stockpile triggers. After Spit Up triggers, Stockpile's number resets. At Main Skill Level 1, this results in a strength gain of between 600 (0 Stockpile triggers) and 10,980 (10 Stockpile triggers). At the maximum Main Skill Level 7, this grows to a whopping 4502 to 82,386 strength gain.
