Whosawhatsit the Movie Solo Event launches in Pokémon Masters EX alongside a Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout, plus new Masked Royal Ultimate Battle
Solo Event: Whosawhatsit the Movie
In this new event, which focuses on Sync Pairs with the Artistic Theme Skill, Iono is offered an opportunity to star in a movie alongside Diantha. By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher B, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including a Sprint Move Candy Coin, and 5★ Scout Tickets. Players can also obtain Gems and Event Medals for completing special missions during the event.
As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
- Iono & Bellibolt, Diantha & Gardevoir, Dahlia & Ludicolo, Bellelba & Swoobat, Brycen-Man & Zoroark, Ryuki & Turtonator: +40% (×1.4) Bonus Rewards
- All other Sync Pairs with the Artistic Theme Skill: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards
Sync Pairs with the Artistic Theme Skill will also receive ×1.5 Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense bonuses when completing event battles.
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
- The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
- To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
- All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
- Leftover Event Voucher B items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes
5★ Iono & Bellibolt, 5★ Diantha & Gardevoir, and 5★ Dahlia & Ludicolo, the stars of the Whosawhatsit the Movie solo event, are returning in this latest Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout. As usual, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 10% chance of appearing in this Poké Fair Scout, with the featured pairs having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. The scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. Each daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.
In conjunction with this scout, 5★ Diantha & Gardevoir are receiving a new Tech EX Role. Players who have already teamed up with this pair will have their existing sync pair updated with this new unlockable Role.
Ultimate Battle: Masked Royal's Eternal Chill is the latest piece of content to be added to the Challenge the Strong content area. To access this Ultimate Battle, select the Side Area from the main Explore Menu, and then select Challenge the Strong. Players successfully completing Ultimate Battle: Masked Royal's Eternal Chill will receive 300 Diamonds as a First-Time Reward.
Challenge the Strong battles follow the standard three-on-three battle format, but have the Ultimate difficulty level, which as the name suggests is a level of difficulty significantly above the difficulty of high level battles to date. These battles will require players to maximize the potential of their Sync Pairs, to have an excellent understanding of how to build their team for the best advantage, and understand the right time to use their moves in the most effective way.
To unlock Challenge the Strong and Ultimate difficulty battles, players must have completed the Champion Stadium Hard Lv. 1 for any region.
