Cramorant arrives in Pokémon Sleep as part of the upcoming Summer Festival event commencing June 17th

Totodile, Cramorant, and Swablu
2024 continues to bring regular in-game events to Pokémon Sleep every month. The game's next week-long event, the Summer Festival, has been scheduled to begin later this month on Monday June 17th at 4:00am local time, running through until Monday June 24th at 3:59am local time. This latest seasonal event celebrates Water-, Flying-, and Bug-type Pokémon, and will feature the debut of Cramorant,

The event will allow Researchers to participate and gain bonuses regardless of where they conduct their sleep research, with the following bonuses active throughout the event period:
  • Dishes will be set to Curries/Stews for all Researchers.
  • Strength gains from dishes will be multiplied by ×1.5.
  • Strength gains from Extra Tasty dishes will be multiplied by ×3 for the first six days of the event, and by ×4.5 on the event's final day on Sunday April 28th.
  • Researchers can encounter a few Pokémon of different sleep types regardless of their own sleep type for the day.
  • Certain Shiny Pokémon may appear
These bonuses closely mirror the Flower Festival that ran in April, and it seems likely that these sorts of seasonal events going forward will have similar bonuses.

Cramorant
Cramorant makes its Pokémon Sleep debut alongside the start of this event, from Monday June 17th at 3:00am local time. Cramorant is a Slumbering Sleep type Pokémon, and will appear at Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, and Snowdrop Tundra. No details have been given yet about what Main Skill this Pokémon will have.

Cramorant Incense items will be able to be used from the instant the Pokémon goes live. As part of this event, Researchers will be able to receive a variety of special rewards, including Cramorant Incense, by completing a set of special missions that will be added on top of the standard weekly missions.

Researchers will also be able to take advantage of a new Limited-Time Function for this event, the Candy Cram-o-Matic. This event-limited function will allow Researchers to effectively gamble with their unwanted Pokémon Candy, allowing them to spend an amount of Dream Shards plus 40 Pokémon Candy to get one M-sized candy of a random type. Researchers will have only a limited ability to influence the type of Type Candy they receive, with the type being slightly biased towards the types associated with the Pokémon Candy consumed, however there is no guarentee that the type received will corrospond to these types.

The Candy Cram-o-Matic will be available to use up to four times per day during the event, consuming more Dream Shards with each use. The Dream Shard cost will reset with each daily rollover.

Additionally, the following Pokémon will also appear more frequently during sleep research throughout the Summer Festival event:

  • The daily rollover for the Summer Festival event is at 4:00am local time.
  • Event bonuses for this event apply regardless of which site players conduct their sleep research in.
  • Event bonuses apply only for sleep tracking that begins within the event period, and do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial, or to sleep data tracked before the event, even if the researcher waits to review their sleep research after the event has started.
