Netflix releases new trailer for Pokémon Concierge - Series to debut worldwide December 28th, with an opening theme performed by Mariya Takeuchi

Haru and Psyduck
Netflix today have released a brand new trailer for Pokémon Concierge, the upcoming stop-motion animated series from dwarf studios. In addition to revealing the release date for the series, December 28th, the new trailer also gives fans our first taste of the show's opening theme, Have a Good Time Here (君の居場所), by Mariya Takeuchi, the Japanese singer-songwriter best known internationally for Plastic Love, the 1984 city pop classic and YouTube viral hit.

Announced earlier this year as part of the Pokémon Presents video presentation for Pokémon Day, Pokémon Concierge follows Haru, a new concierge at a southern island ‘Pokémon Resort,’ her story of self-discovery as she and her co-workers attend with the various Pokémon and their owners who visit the resort as guests. The series will give fans a glimpse of the Pokémon world that we don't normally see, going beyond the franchise's normal focus on Pokémon training and battling.

dwarf studios was founded by Tsuneo Goda, the creator of NHK's classic Domo-kun mascot character, in 2003. The studio is perhaps best known for their stop-motion animation work on the Domo-kun franchise, and for the Rilakkuma and Kaoru series of shorts which are available worldwide on Netflix.
