Which things surprised you the most from the pokemon games?
It can be anything, elements of the story, pokemon designs, attacks, abilities etc.
To me some of the things that surprised me the most were:
1. N’s castle coming out of the ground in BW and the gym leaders going against all the sages from Team Plasma.
2. Lusamine fusing with Nihilego.
3. Team Rainbow Rocket in USUM.
4. Being able to access other planets via Ultra Space.
5. Professor Sada/Turo having an AI version of themselves in Scarlet/Violet.
