Good evening, and welcome to the newest of our Official Claim Threads! Here, you may show off your love for your favorite songs from Pokémon game soundtracks, battle themes, anime opening themes, and more.
Before you place a claim, please give the rules a quick read — particularly rule #7, as it's new and important to this version of the thread!
RULES:
1. Post the date you claimed the song in the order of DD/MM/YYYY. e.g. March 17th, 2016 would be 17/03/2016.
This is used so that users can see when a claim was made and if the 2 month time window has occurred for the claim to be up for grabs again. While a claim will not be rejected if not in the right format, it is highly appreciated if done so correctly.
2. You will need to have at least 20 posts to be eligible to claim something. This is to avoid people just signing-up to claim something, then leaving afterwards. If you post in a thread and try to claim with less than 20 posts you will be told that your claim is not accepted.
3. If you are inactive for 2 months or more, your claim becomes void and someone else is free to claim it if they wish.
This is basically to keep the thread going, as inactive members don't need to have their claims kept intact. Users will be linked in the thread, so you can quickly check if they are still active on the site that way.
4. You can claim up to three songs.
This is simply to avoid any one person claiming more than their fair share.
5. If you want to change your claim, you will have to wait another month before doing so.
This is to stop people repeatedly from changing their mind and spamming the thread with constant claim changes. If making a claim change request, please indicate which song you wish to unclaim.
6. Wait at least 6 weeks after a new game's release before claiming songs from its soundtrack.This is to keep things fairly spoiler free, and give several people time to experience the game and its music before others instantly claim them.
7. Please be specific about which song you're claiming.For instance, if you want to claim the "Route 1" theme, specify which game you're referring to, e.g. Route 1 (RBY), Route 1 (FRLG), or Route 1 (SwSh). For anime or other music, try to include a Bulbapedia or YouTube link if possible. We won't reject your claim if you don't, but it makes things easier for both parties since we won't have to ask!
It'd obviously be impossible for us to list every single song in the franchise, so more songs will be added to the list as they're requested. Feel free to place your claim and we'll add it for you under its respective section.
