favorite cake flavors?

i was thinking about @c la fet's classic ice cream flavor thread and got curious, what's everyone's favorite variety of cake?

sorry if the poll options maybe don't have your specific favorite, i just listed the common types that came to mind ^^;;

i've personally never put much thought into it myself, but when i think about it i'd definitely say red velvet is my favorite! i'm a big fan of the cream cheese frosting, i like it a lot better than cakes that only have one kind of flavor (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, etc.)

i also really like confetti cake, but i feel like that's moreso a variation of vanilla rather than its own thing
