A limited-time distribution of a Shiny Pelipper was announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet during the Day 1 livestream of the 2025 Pokémon Latin America International Championships. This Shiny Pelipper is based on the one used by Patrick Connors in his winning team in the Masters division of last year's Pokémon North American International Championships. This distribution will remain available only until November 22nd, at 11:59pm (UTC).

Players can receive this gift by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Get with Code/Password. Players will then need to enter the code W1DEGUARDLA1C25 at the prompt after the game has connected to the internet. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to receive code distributions.
