Fighting and Steel Conqueror High Score Event launches in Pokémon Masters EX, alongside 5★-Select Type and Double Feature Poké Fair Scouts

Pokémon Masters EX's latest High Score Event, Fighting and Steel Conqueror, is launching today alongside 5★-Select Type and Double Feature Poké Fair Scouts featuring Sync Pairs useful for challenging the event. Both the event and the accompanying scouts will run through to November 19th, at 9:59pm (PST).

High Score Event: Fighting and Steel Conqueror
Fighting and Steel Conqueror is the latest High Score Event in Pokémon Masters EX, in which Trainers can attempt to score the highest amount possible within a set of five battles. Fighting and Steel Conqueror once again will see players facing off against trainers from two different types, with this event's gauntlet including Hala, Bea, Poppy, Rose, and Jasmine. By completing battles in this event and achieving a higher total score, players will be able to earn a variety of rewards, including 5★ Power-Ups, Certificates of Excellence, Move Candy and Roll Cake Coins, and Skill Feathers. The normal amount of rewards for High Score Events has also received a boost for the five-year anniversary celebrations.

Players can also obtain Gems ×100, Fighting Tome, Vol. 1 ×60, Fighting Codex, Vol. 1 ×60, Steel Tome, Vol. 1 ×60, and Steel Codex, Vol. 1 ×60 as first-time rewards for completing each battle.

Each High Score Event comes with a set of Event Rules that apply to all battles, and serve as a set of conditions to evaluate how players have completed each battle. The ratings on each of these rules determine the player's base score for each battle. The rules for Fighting and Steel Conqueror are as follows:
  • Time Trial - Players will obtain a higher score depending on how fast they can complete each battle.
  • More stat increases - Players will obtain a higher score the more times all allied sync pairs' stats have been raised in total when a battle is completed. For sync pairs whose HP dropped to 0 during the battle, the number of stat increases that sync pair had when they were knocked out will be counted.
  • More stat decreases - Players will obtain a higher score depending on the total percentage of all allied sync pairs' HP remaining when a battle is completed.
Each of these above rules has a maximum score of 3,000, for a total of 9,000 possible score from Event Rules. In addition to these Event Rules, players will also be able to boost their base score by satisfying additional Challenge Rules. The two Challenge rules for the Fighting and Steel Conqueror event are as follows:
  • Flinching: 1 or more times - Players will receive a bonus 1,000 to their base score by inflicting the Flinching interference on an opponent 1 or more times.
  • Gym Leader or Seasonal Outfit - Players will receive a bonus 1,000 to their base score by forming a team with 1 or more characters with the Gym Leader or Seasonal Outfit Theme Skills.
On top of these bonuses, players will receive the following multipliers to their base Score depending on their number of Fighting- and Steel-type sync pairs in their party:
  • 0 Pairs: ×0 Score
  • 1 Pair: ×1 Score
  • 2 Pairs: ×2 Score
  • 3 Pairs: ×3 Score
With these multipliers, players must include at least one Fighting- or Steel-type sync pair in their team to receive a score for each battle. As each Sync Pair will only be able to join a single battle in the set of five, players will need to have teamed up with a wide variety of Fighting- and Steel-ype Sync Pairs if they want to ensure the highest score possible.

Three of the five battles in this particular High Score Event also have additional special rules:
  • VS Hala: Five stats of allied strike sync pairs significantly reduced - Allied strike sync pairs' Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed are lowered by 80%.
  • VS Bea: No special rules.
  • VS Poppy: No special rules.
  • VS Rose: Ally special attack damage significantly reduced - Reduces the damage allies deal with special attack moved by 80%.
  • VS Jasmine: Five stats of allied tech sync pairs significantly reduced - Allied tech sync pairs' Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed are lowered by 80%.
A ranking feature is also available to this event, allowing players to see how well they've done against other trainers. Players whose Best Score is within the top 10,000 spots at the end of the event will be awarded Master Rank, receiving a special Medal as a general mission reward. Final Ranking Results will only be announced after the event has concluded, from November 21st, at 10:00pm (PST), and will remain available until November 28th, at 9:59pm (PST).

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • Area info completion data will not be carried over the next time this event returns.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • It may take some time for rankings to be updated, meaning the in-game rankings may not reflect the most recent results.
  • Battles finished after the event period ends may not be reflected in the rankings.
Two new Scout Banners

Two new scout banners have started today in Pokémon Masters EX, running alongside Fighting and Steel Conqueror.

5★-Select Type Scout
In this 5★-Select Special Scout featuring only Fighting- and Steel-type Sync Pairs, players can spend 2,000 paid gems to receive an 11x Scout, as well as an additional bonus selection of a 5★ Sync Pair of the player's choice from a limited pool. This scout can be used up to 3 times during the scouting period.

Type Exclusive - Double Feature Poké Fair Scout
5★ Rose & Copperajah and Poppy & Tinkaton make their return in this Double Feature Feature Poké Fair Scout.

As with a typical Poké Fair Scout, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 10% chance of appearing, with the three featured trainers having a higher chance of being scouted. Unlike regular Poké Fair Scouts however, only Fighting- and Steel-type Sync Pairs will appear in this scout.

As always, Poké Fair exclusive Sync Pairs may reappear in future Poké Fair Scouts.
