Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon cards from Super Electric Breaker unveiled in latest video from the official Japanese Pokémon TCG YouTube channel

Today's video on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese YouTube channel has revealed new cards for Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon. These cards will be released in Japan on October 18th as part of the Super Electric Breaker expansion for the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Cards from Super Electric Breaker will release internationally as part of the Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks expansion, which comes out November 8th.

The Scatterbug and Spewpa cards are illustrated by Iori Suzuki and tono, who each are making their debuts as contributors to the Pokémon TCG with these cards.

In addition to its regular print with artwork by Amelicart, Vivillon is also receiving an Art Rare with artwork by REND, and it actually looks pretty stunning! Both prints are also the first Vivillon cards to feature its Fancy Pattern!

The video showed how the new Vivillon can combo with Scatterbug and Spewpa from Scarlet & Violet due to their Adaptive Evolution Ability. This may have potential as something similar to Amazing Celebi from Sword & Shield—Vivid Voltage, minus the multi-type attack cost, so it can be used on the first turn going second.

Translations of all cards revealed today can be found in the table below, and will be added on Bulbapedia shortly.
