Pokémon Presents reveals new characters and multiplayer features for Pokémon Pokopia; game to release worldwide March 5th

Pokémon Pokopia multiplayer The Pokémon Presents preview of Pokémon Pokopia has revealed some new details about the game, including some new characters and lots of new multiplayer functionality. Pokémon Pokopia is scheduled to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, worldwide on March 5th.

The first new character revealed for Pokopia is DJ Rotom. This is the first time Rotom has been seen inhabiting a stereo. The player can give DJ Rotom CDs, allowing them to play music in their towns which other Pokémon can dance along to. The trailer shows off CDs of the Pallet Town Theme, The Academy (from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet), Fortree City’s theme, Road to Cerulean City, Road to Viridian City, and the Pewter City Theme.

The second new character to be revealed is Chef Dente, a Greedent that wears a yellow bandana and has decorated itself with cooking utensils. Chef Dente teaches the player to cook dishes that they can eat for themselves to power up their moves, or give to other Pokémon to become friends.
