Acting as a true mix of all roles, Arc Suit Misty & Starmie can deal out massive damage to opponents through powerful and cheap attacks, and through various means can debuff opponents against special attacks in general and Water-type attacks specifically, buff allies special attacks and their defense against Water-type attacks, reduce the sync move countdown, and apply a Circle to the field of play.
Arc Suit Misty Gym Emote
A special Gems with Gym Emotes offer is available from the in-game shop, allowing players to obtain an Arc Suit Misty Gym Emote as a present. This offer, which comes with 250 paid gems, can be purchased under the With Emotes tab in the Purchase Gems menu of the in-game shop until March 13th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
Players can now take on a selection of trainers from Kanto in this latest Special Battle Event running through to February 27th, at 9:59pm (PST).
Similar to the previous Special Battle Events for the Arceus Arc, this event appears to follow the same format recently seen in Story Events, where players will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Featured event rewards include 5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Tech Move Candy Coin, a 5★ Power-Up, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feather 115 and 116; custom Sync Orbs for Arc Suit Misty & Starmie and Arc Suit Brock & Onix; and Lucky Cookies for Arc Suit Misty & Starmie, Arc Suit Brock & Onix, and Brock & Onix.
- Arc Suit Misty & Starmie: +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
- Blue & Pidgeot, Red & Snorlax, Leaf & Eevee, Milo & Eldegoss, Nessa & Drednaw, and Brassius & Sudowoodo: +40% (×1.4) bonus rewards
- All other Sync Pairs with the Kanto Theme Skill: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
- The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
- To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
- All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
- All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.
Clavell's Special Sync Pair event, which first debuted in the Run-Up to the 5.5 Year Anniversary, makes its return until March 30th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
Clavell (Alt.) & Sprigattio can be acquired simply by completing the first Story area of the event. Despite his outfit being based on that worn by his counterpart from Pokémon Violet's Uva Academy, this is actually the same Clavell from Naranja Academy that's been on Pasio all this time! By completing stages in the event, players will be rewarded with Event Voucher Q items, which can be exchanged for additional copies of the sync pair to improve their sync moves and move level, Custom Sync Orbs for Clavell (Alt.) & Sprigattio, and other items.
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
- To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
- All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
- When the exchange period for the vouchers obtained in this event ends, leftover Event Voucher Q items will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to each player's Present Box.
Until March 30th at 10:59pm (PDT), players will receive log-in bonuses enabling access to special 10-Pair Scouts.
- Day 1, 5, 10, 15, 20: Fair-Exclusive Gtd. 10-Pair Ticket ×1
- Days 2-4, 6-9, 11-14, 16-19: 10-Pair Scout Ticket ×1
The new Gym Battle feature will make its debut later this week on February 19th at 9:59pm (PST) with Pasio Gym Battle No. 1.
In this new type of event, players will take on eight trainers together with their comrades from their Trainer Gym. A trailer showcasing this new content has been posted to The Official Pokémon Masters EX Channel on YouTube. The rules for these are quite detailed and involved, so we encourage trainers to watch the trainer and read up on them prior to the first event.
Briefly, these battles are seemingly not designed to be defeated by a single player in a single sitting. Rather, the damage that you've dealt, as well as some status effects, will carry over to the next player attempting that fight. This will allow the whole gym to get involved as you baton pass to each other to take on all opponents over multiple circuits. Trainers and Gyms will receive various rewards depending on how high your Gym ranks, and how high you rank within your Gym. These will include items such as Superawakening Candies, Move Candies, Lucky Cookies, and Scout Tickets, including for the brand new 5★-Guaranteed Gym Ticket Scout.
