New merch to celebrate release of Pokémon Pokopia coming to Pokémon Centers in Japan
The collection starts with some plushes of Pokémon from the game, like the Pikachu who is unusually pale, Peakychu, for ¥2,750 ($17.96 USD), while Mosslax and Professor Tangrowth will each retail for ¥6,600 ($43.10 USD). The male and female player characters will each feature as plush keychains for ¥3,300 ($21.55 USD). A Castform plush can flip between its Sunny and Rainy Forms, retailing for ¥2,200 ($14.37 USD), and a two-sided Ditto cushion retails for ¥4,400 ($28.74 USD).
Peakychu also features as an LED light for ¥4,950 ($32.33 USD), and the male and female Ditto protagonists feature on hand towels for ¥660 ($4.31 USD) each. Six different acrylic stand scenes come in blind bags for ¥880 ($5.75 USD) each. A Pokopia-themed tin containing cheesy snacks will retail for ¥1,100 ($7.18 USD).
The Pokopia collection features quite a lot of stationery, starting with a mini notebook for ¥1,210 ($7.90 USD), and a memo pad block for ¥990 ($6.47 USD). Two different designs of stand-up sticky notes will be ¥660 ($4.31 USD) each, a set of three markers with a pouch will be ¥1,650 ($10.78 USD), and a set of two file folders will retail for ¥550 ($3.59 USD). Finally, a roll of washi tape stickers will be ¥880 ($5.75 USD), a set of six stickers featuring all the above characters plus Smearguru will be ¥770 ($5.03 USD), and a Ditto sticker set will retail for ¥550 ($3.59 USD).
No part of this collection is expected to become available via Amazon Japan, but Pokémon Stores which are not Pokémon Centers, such as the location in Narita International Airport, will have the plushes and cheesy snacks tin available.
