Poké Tape 5, a new album of lofi Pokémon remixes by Blauu, releases for streaming and download

The folks over at GameChops have released the latest album in their Poké Tape series, which spotlights individual artists and their unique perspectives on their favourite Pokémon music. Poké Tape 5 features the work of Blauu, whose style blends chill lofi, jazz influences, and acoustic instrumentation, with live keyboards and no use of AI whatsoever.

The album comprises remixes of a 11 songs from various generations of Pokémon main series games as well as the Pokémon Trading Card Game for Gameboy, including music originally composed by Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, Hitomi Satō, Hiromitsu Maeba, and Shota Kageyama.

Poké Tape 5 is available for streaming now via YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and Deezer. The album is also available for purchase and download via and Beatport.

GameChops is a record label dedicated to video game music. Founded by Dj Cutman in 2012, GameChops was one of the first record labels to license and publish video game music on platforms like iTunes and Spotify.
