A Pure and Touching Heart Neo Champions Event returns to Pokémon Masters EX until February 8th

Following on from the return of Nate and Serena's Neo Champion Sync Pairs alongside yesterday's Pokémon Masters Day event, the Neo Champions: A Pure and Touching Heart event is returning to Pokémon Masters EX today for the very first time. This event is available in-game now, and will continue until February 8th, at 9:59pm (PST).

This event sees Nate nominated by N, Hilbert, and Hilda as a new Neo Champion, as part of the second ever Neo Champion Stadium, which this time will be judged by Iris and Colress.

By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher O items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including a Strike Move Candy Coin, a 5★ Power-Up, Special Skill Feather 9, and 5★ Scout Tickets. Players can also take on event missions to earn Event Medals and additional Gems. All rewards can be claimed even if players have previously completed the event during its original run in November and December, 2023.

As usual for events of this type, players will receive bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Nate (Champion) & Haxorus: +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
• Lear & Hoopa, Iris (Alt) & Hydreigon, Colress & Klinklang, Hilbert & Oshawott/Dewott/Samurott, Hilda & Tepig/Pignite/Emboar, N & Zekrom: +40% (×1.4) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Unova theme skill: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Nate (Champion) & Haxorus, Lear & Hoopa, and Iris (Alt) & Hydreigon would grant a combined +140% (×2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Event Voucher O items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes.
