Catch Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon GO's next Community Day event on February 1st — Dates released for upcoming Community Days and other events

The Fox Pokémon, Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's February 2026 Community Day, which will be held at the very beginning of the month on Sunday, February 1st, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with their Shiny variant, and some that has a Special Background. Scopely have also announced the dates of the next Season's Community Days and other events.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event:

• 3× XP for catching Pokémon
• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Trainers can receive an in-game surprise by taking a few snapshots during Community Day

The following additional event bonuses will be active from 2:00pm to 9:00pm local time:

• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
• Lure Modules will last for one hour.
• Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules.
  • Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny, and may have a Special Background.

Featured Attacks
From the beginning of the event until 9:00pm local time, Vulpix that are evolved into Ninetales will know the Charged Attack Energy Ball, while Alolan Vulpix that are evolved into Alolan Ninetales will know the Charged Attack Chilling Water.

Paid Special Research
A Vulpix Community Day-exclusive Special Research will be available for purchase for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Trainers who complete this research will earn additional encounters with Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix (including two encounters with Vulpix that have a Special Background and an encounter with an Alolan Vulpix that has a Special Background), a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Field Research
Free Community Day-themed Field Research will be available. Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this research will be able to earn additional encounters with Vulpix or Alolan Vulpix, as well as Stardust, and Ultra Balls. Some Trainers may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Vulpix or Alolan Vulpix that have a Special Background.

Timed Research
Trainers may check in to a Community Ambassador event to get Timed Research. Trainers completing this research will be able to earn additional encounters with Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix with a Special Background, as well as other premium item rewards.

Community Day Ultra Box
A Community Day Ultra Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This box includes an event ticket, plus five Ultra Balls.

Dates for next season's events
Scopely, the current developers of Pokémon GO, have announced dates for multiple upcoming Pokémon GO Community Day events that will be held in the next in-game Season, as well as dates for several, as yet unannounced, in-game events.

Community Days will occur on these dates:

• Saturday, March 14th
• Saturday, April 11th
• Saturday, May 9th
• Saturday, May 16th (Community Day Classic)

Other fun in-game events will run on the following dates:

• Season event: Saturday through Monday, March 7th–9th
• Research Day: Saturday, March 21st
• Max Battle Day: Saturday, March 28th
• Raid Day: Saturday, April 4th
• Hatch Day: Saturday, April 18th
• Max Battle Day: Saturday, April 25th
• Shadow Raid Day: Saturday, May 2nd
• Raid Day: Saturday, May 23th
