Catch Dynamax Ho-Oh in Pokémon GO over January 31st and February 1st in the Dynamax Ho-Oh Max Battle Weekend

Dynamax Ho-Oh will be making its debut in five-star Max Battles in Pokémon GO's next Max Battle Weekend, running from Saturday, January 31st, at 6:00am to Sunday, February 1st, at 9:00pm local time. Lucky Trainers may also encounter Dynamax Lugia in its Shiny variant during this event.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active during the event hours:

• The Max Particle collection limit will be increased to 1,600
• Trainers will require only 1/4 Adventuring distance to receive Max Particles
• Power Spots will refresh more frequently
• Trainers will receive 8× Max Particles from Power Spots

Free and Paid Timed Research
Free Timed Research will be available to Trainers starting from Monday, January 26th, at 6:00am local time. Trainers who complete this Timed Research will receive an encounter with a Dynamax Kabuto, Kabuto Candy, and Max Particles, amongst other rewards. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before February 1st, at 9:00pm local time.

Event Ticket and Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able purchase an Event Ticket for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency), which grants which grants access to event-exclusive Timed Research that will be effective from January 31st, at 6:00am to Sunday, February 1st, at 9:00pm local time.Trainers completing this research will receive 6,400 Max Particles, and 25,000 XP.

Additionally, ticket holders will also receive the following bonuses during the event:

• 2× XP from Max Battles
• Increased Candy and Candy XL from five-star Max Battles

This ticket will only be available in the in-game shop until February 1st, at 9:00pm local time. Trainers may gift this event-exclusive ticket to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Dynamax Ho-Oh Max Battle Weekend Ultra Ticket Box
A Dynamax Ho-Oh Max Battle Weekend Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This box includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, and a bonus Premium Battle Pass.
