Glimmet makes its Pokémon GO debut late this month in the Into the Depths event commencing January 27th

Glimmet, the Ore Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in the Into the Depths event, which will run from Tuesday, January 27th, at 10:00am, to Sunday, February 1st, at 8:00pm local time. Trainers will have the opportunity to encounter Glimmet from Routes, Field Research, free Timed Research, and paid Timed Research during this event.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonus will be active throughout the event period:

• 3× XP from completing Routes
• 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance

Field Research Task Rewards
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this research will receive two Incubators, encounters with Diglett and Yungoos with increased Shiny chance, and encounters with Glimmet, amongst other rewards.

Trainers who purchase this ticket will also receive the following additional bonus during the event period:

• 2× Hatch Candy bonus

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before February 1st, at 8:00pm local time. Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.

Into the Depths Ultra Ticket Box
An Into the Depths Ultra Ticket Box will be available in the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). The box includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, along with five Ultra Balls.
