Take advantage of limited-time bonuses with Buddy Pokémon in Pokémon GO's Precious Pals event commencing January 20th

The Precious Pals event will be running in Pokémon GO later this month from Tuesday, January 20th, at 10:00am, through to Sunday, January 25th, at 8:00pm local time. Shiny Fidough will be appearing in Pokémon GO for the first time as part of this event.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonus will be active throughout the event period:

• Trainers will receive additional Candy XL when walking with their Buddy Pokémon.
• Trainers can earn additional hearts with their Buddy Pokémon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Goldeen.
• Increased chance to hatch Shiny Goldeen and Shiny Fidough.

Limited-time Evolution requirements
The following Pokémon will have a limited-time Evolution requirement during the event period:

• Evolve Eevee into Sylveon after earning 20 hearts with Eevee set as buddy.
• Evolve Pancham into Pangoro after catching ten Dark-type Pokémon with Pancham set as buddy.
• Evolve Pawmo into Pawmot after exploring 5 km with Pawmo set as buddy.

The Evolution requirements for these Pokémon will return to their usual requirements at the conclusion of this event on January 25th, at 8:00pm local time.

Collection Challenges
Event-themed Collection Challenges will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these will receive XP, Stardust, and encounters with Fidough.

Field Research Task Rewards
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive Berries, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this Timed Research will receive one Poffin, an event-themed avatar pose, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before January 25th, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Precious Pals Ultra Ticket Box
A Precious Pals Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This box includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, along with one Premium Battle Pass.
