Pokémon Scarlet & Violet updated to Version 1.3.1 - Patch resolves issues that had impacted the Japanese and Korean National Tournament Qualifiers

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet today have received an update to Version 1.3.1. First announced on the Japanese official Pokémon Twitter account @Pokemon_cojp, and with an English announcement on the @playpokemon 15 minutes later, this update fixes multiple issues that were impacting players in invite-only official tournaments, including the Japanese and Korean National Championship Qualifiers, to repeatedly face the same opponents, have difficulties in exiting between battles, and be unable to view rankings.

Tournaments that were impacted by these errors will be rerun over the coming days. While not mentioned in the English announcement, the Japanese announcement of this update explicitly noted that all players who had been affected by this issue have been notified via email.


Official English patch notes for this update have not yet been released, however they should be available on Nintendo of America's Customer Support site at some point in the near future.
