A limited-time distribution of Dragonite was announced for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield during the August 26th broadcast of Pokémon Journeys: The Series (Pocket Monsters) in Japan. This Dragonite is based on the Dragonite used by Ash Ketchum in the World Coronation Series. Players can redeem this Dragonite using the code「UM1N0KESH1N」. This code can only be redeemed until September 8th.

2. Press the X button during gameplay to access the in-game menu.
3. Select MYSTERY GIFT.
4. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
5. Select Get with Code/Password.
6. Enter code 「UM1N0KESH1N」 and select OK.
7. Select サトシ's Dragonite Gift.
8. Be sure to save your game after receiving your gift.
