KFC Taiwan partners with Pokémon for a promotional set meal celebrating the Lunar New Year and Pokémon Legends: Arceus

The official Taiwanese Pokémon Facebook page and KFC Taiwan have announced a special limited promotion to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the upcoming release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, beginning today. These special Pokémon KFC set meals are available for dine-in customers only in KFC outlets islandwide throughout Taiwan, and are not available for home delivery.

The "Golden Healthy and Wealthy Cheese Chicken" (金海派富貴起司雞) features chicken marinated in a golden seafood sauce made from a variety of seafood ingredients, salted egg yolk, onion, chili, garlic, and topped with shredded parmesan cheese. It will be available for purchase as part of the following six set meals.

• Chicken à la carte (NT$66)
• Single meal (NT$165)
• XL meal (NT$195)
• Couples meal (NT$320)
• Family meal (NT$668)
• New Year lucky meal (NT$798)

Until February 28th, customers ordering any meal set including the "Golden Healthy and Wealthy Cheese Chicken" will receive 1 randomly selected S-P Promotional card of either Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott, with the KFC logo on the bottom right corner of the artwork. These cards are currently only Taiwan-exclusive and have not yet been released anywhere in the world.

Additionally, customers purchasing any meal set including the "Golden Healthy and Wealthy Cheese Chicken" between January 24th and January 30th will also receive 2 hóngbāo red envelopes printed with Pikachu and Eevee in Lunar New Year costumes, which can then be used to give family or friends gifts for the new year.

Both the cards and red envelopes will be available only while stocks last.
