The next set of V Battle Decks for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, based around Rayquaza V and Noivern V, has been announced by The Pokémon Company International for worldwide release in October 2021.

Featuring Dragon-type Pokémon, which are being re-introduced to the game this year with the upcoming Evolving Skies expansion, these new decks include everything that first-time players need to get started with the game, including a deck box, damage counters, a single-player playmat, a rules booklet, a Quick Guide, three reference cards, an extra-large-sized metallic coin, a code card to unlock a digital version of the deck in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, and of course the 60-card deck itself. In addition to being available individually, the decks will also be available in a bundle version that includes all of the accessories from the individual packs plus eight additional Trainer cards (two of which are foil cards), a guide to integrate them, and another TCGO code card.

The first V Battle Decks, featuring Venusaur and Blastoise, were released in February this year. The V Battle Deck line replaces the traditional Theme Decks that had been a mainstay of the Pokémon TCG going all the way back to the original Base Set.
