Pokémon GO to introduce new friend referral system

If you've been wanting to invite your friends to Pokémon GO but have lacked the motivation, you're about to be in luck. Pokémon GO will soon be giving players an incentive to lure friends on-board in the form of a referral program and reward scheme.

It's not just new players who can take advantage of these rewards, those who've been taking a bit of a break can reap the benefits as well. Both referring and refered players will receive special rewards including (but not limited to) Pokémon encounters, Rare Candy, Incubators with each milestone the referred player hits.

While no start date for this program has yet been announced, Australian Trainers can expect to be the first to receive referral codes once the program starts rolling out.
