A brand new art exhibit has debuted in the Japanese National Crafts Museum in Kanagawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. The Pokémon × Kogei: Playful Encounters of Art and Japanese Craft exhibit features the work of 20 individuals, from living national treasures to young rising stars, taking shape as pottery, attire, metalwork, and other Japanese crafts. The exhibit runs from March 21st until June 11th, 2023, excluding Mondays. There are about 70 works, featuring Pokémon from Generations 1-8.

In what seems like the culmination of Pokémon Masters EX's 3.5 year anniversary celebrations, Galar's own Ball Guy is making his debut today in Pokémon Masters EX in a Variety Scout together with his partner Pokémon Amoonguss. Alongside this scout, Ball Guy will also be taking center stage in a variety of in-game events, including brand new Story and Expedition events.

Niantic has announced that the Happiness Pokémon, Togetic will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day in April. During this event, Togetic will be appearing more frequently in the wild, with its Shiny variant also appearing rarely. The event will be held on April 15th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

The Happiness Pokémon Blissey will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet between March 24th, at 00:00pm (UTC), and March 26th, at 11:59pm (UTC). Blissey will be appearing in both versions of the game, and will be available in a wide array of Tera Types, including rare Tera Types for this species.

There's only seven days remaining for 3DS owners to purchase games from the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShops before both services shut down on the 27th of March, 2023. Though purchased games can still be downloaded after this point, this means that Pokémon fans will have to move swiftly to get their hands on a wide range of games that are only widely available via Nintendo eShop. Notably, this list also includes Pokémon Bank; though Bank (and its associated DLC, the Poké Transporter) cannot be downloaded after this date, the Pokémon Bank service will become free of charge for users who have already downloaded it by this date. Players are encouraged to visit the eShop while they still can, so that they are not limited to expensive second-hand physical copies when wanting to delve into Pokémon video game history.

An update on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese homepage has revealed new cards that will be released with Snow Hazard and Clay Burst. This newly announced second main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet series for the Pokémon Trading Card game will be released in Japan on April 14th.

The Pokémon Company has today opened up a website, Twitter account and Instagram account for Project Snorlax (プロジェクトカビゴン). Details on the project are currently sparce. While it seems likely that this project will tie-in in some fashion to Pokémon Sleep, no explicit mention of the upcoming spin-off title has been made in any of the initial posts for the project.

Episode 301 of THE FIRST TAKE, which airs in a bit over an hour from when this story is going up, will feature a special performance by Rica Matsumoto, Ash's Japanese voice actress, performing Mezase Pokemon Master -with my friends-, the arrangement of the first Japanese opening theme of the Pokémon anime that was originally made to commemorate the anime's 25th anniversary, and which is being used as the opening for the final epilogue arc that's currently airing in Japan. In addition to Rica Matsumoto herself, the performance will also feature a live band, electric violin, and chorus.

After the broadcast of the most recent anime episode in Japan earlier tonight, we finally have a name for the mysterious character for the new Pokémon anime series first seen in the background of the main visual released on March 3rd. Amejio (アメジオ) is a member of an organisation called the Explorers, who seem to have an agenda that puts them at odds with Liko and Roy. The new Pokémon series will begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo in Japan with a 1 hour special starting 6:55pm (JST) on April 14th.

In the latest update on Pokémon GO's official site, Niantic has released details on a pair of events coming to Pokémon GO across late March. The Let's GO event starting March 21st will feature a collection of different Pokémon including the Hex Nut Pokémon Meltan. Running alongside this event will be the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover, which will start March 25th. The Team GO Rocket Takeover will see Trainers completing Special Research and chasing down Giovanni before he can complete an evil plot involving Shadow Regice.

The Pokémon Company has released a special music video in collaboration with Night Tempo, a maker of "aesthetic music" from South Korea. The video, which was uploaded simultaneously to the official English and Japanese Pokémon YouTube channels, presents a mashup remix of Aim to Be a Pokémon Master (めざせポケモンマスター Mezase Pokémon Master), the original Japanese theme song of the Pokémon anime, with its English counterpart, Gotta Catch 'Em All!.

Funko, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International, has officially released a new pearlescent variant of the 353 Pikachu figure from the Pop! Games subset of Funko's Pop! line of vinyl figures.
